Universal slings are key components to safe patient handle via lifts, they come in two styles: the "U" shape sling and the full body sling. The U-style sling offers quick-fit sizing that works for 85% of patients. This is the easiest option for wheelchair transfers; the bottom of the sling is open and which allows the patient entry into the sling. Simply pull the back support down behind the patient's back and the long leg straps wrap around the thigh of the leg. A full body sling, as the name implies, is for patients who require full body support - especially in the need neck and head area. All sling types are available in all sizes from XS to XL.
