Description
The Rio Mobility Firefly Electric Handcycle is designed to convert a manual wheelchair into a 12mph chair and its high capacity battery lets you travel over 15 miles on a single charge. It is adjustable and it fit most all wheelchairs and users. It is powered by a 350W, 36V geared, brushless hub motor with reinforced hybrid nylon/steel gears and a 36V lithium battery for an extended range and long life; surely steering on hills, over grass, and even on side slope is easy using the Firefly Electric Handcycle. The Rio Mobility Firefly Electric Handcycle attaches easily and can be easily snapped on and off in less than a minute. It displays the speedometer, odometer, battery level and is equipped with 2 brake handles with parking brake capabilities. It also uses an automatic motorcycle-style set of controls with a twist grip throttle.
There is an installation process that typically takes around 30 minutes to an hour. After the initial installation process is completed, the device latches on and off your wheelchair in seconds.
