The factory filled fluid insert is designed for symmetrical postures and stable conditions where fluid volume is pre-established and standard. The field variable fluid insert is ideal for more individualized evaluations to determine desired fluid volume and/or to accommodate changing needs. Both fluid pads have been redesigned with increased segmentation to reduce surface tension and offer optimal pressure redistribution.
